Whatever is on your driveway
Ford, Vauxhall, Peugeot, Toyota, Kia, Nissan. The name on the sign says where the owner trained. It does not say who we will take.
Same technicians. Same kit. Same standard.
There is no second-tier workshop out the back for ordinary cars. Your Focus goes on the same lift, gets read by the same diagnostic equipment and is worked on by the same person as the Porsche that came in before it.
What the German specialism actually buys you, whatever you drive, is a workshop that has had to be precise for nineteen years. The habits do not switch off because the badge changed.

Digital service history
Most of these cars stopped using a paper stamp book years ago. On Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda, Porsche and Land Rover we update the manufacturer’s online service record, so the work sits in the car’s own history. That is what a dealer looks at for warranty work and what a buyer looks at when you sell. Anything still running a paper book gets the book stamped.
Straight answers about what it costs
You get a price before we start
Not an estimate that grows. If we find something once the wheel is off, you get a call and a price, and nothing happens until you say yes.
You choose the parts
Genuine, OEM or quality aftermarket. On an older car, aftermarket is often the sensible answer and we will say so rather than selling you the dearest option.
You keep the old parts
Worn parts are kept back for you to look at. If you want to see the disc that needed replacing, it will be there.
We have not put a price list on this page, because a price list that does not know your car is a guess. Ring the workshop with your registration and you will get a real number for your vehicle.
Everything we do
MOT testing
Class 4 testing on site, with the repairs done in the same workshop if something needs putting right.
Car servicing
Interim, full and major engine servicing, to the manufacturer schedule, logged in your car's digital service history.
Diagnostics
Dealer level equipment, and the experience to read what it is telling us.
Brakes and suspension
Pads, discs, brake fluid changes, arms and bushes, with the worn parts kept back for you to look at.
Gearbox and clutch
Gearbox oil and filter servicing, DSG and automatic, plus clutch replacement. Done here, not sent away.
Differential and transfer case
The 4x4 driveline oil services almost every garage skips, until something expensive breaks.
Cambelt and timing
Belts, chains, tensioners and water pumps, done before they become engine failures.
Air conditioning
Regas, leak testing and repair, on both R134a and the newer R1234yf systems.
DPF cleaning
Blocked diesel particulate filters cleaned, and the reason it blocked found.
AdBlue and NOx sensors
AdBlue warnings and the countdown to no-start, diagnosed properly rather than guessed at.
The questions people actually ask
The name says Mercedes. Will you really take my Ford?
Yes, and we would rather you asked than assumed. The name comes from where the owner trained, not from what we will accept. Everyday cars are most of what goes through this workshop.
Will it cost more because you are a specialist?
No. You are charged for the work on your car, not for the badge on the sign. A brake job on a Corsa is priced as a brake job on a Corsa.
Can you service a car that is still under warranty?
Yes. Servicing at a qualified independent does not void a manufacturer warranty as long as we follow the manufacturer schedule and use parts of matching quality, which we do and we record.
Do you work on hybrids and electric cars?
Ring the workshop and ask about your specific model. We would rather tell you honestly what we can and cannot take on than have you turn up and find out.
Do you take vans?
Yes, cars, vans and light commercials.
Ring us about your car
Whatever it is, whatever age it is. Tell us the registration and what it is doing.
Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Drop the car at Cardiff Marine Village, Penarth Road.
